What we can help with
Questions about the calculator. If a result looks higher or lower than you expected, there is usually a reason. Working day assumptions, pension treatment and student loan deductions all shift the numbers. Tell us what you entered and what you got back, and we will take a look.
Something looks out of date. Tax rates and National Insurance thresholds change. We update the calculator when they do, but there can be a short gap. If you think a figure is based on old rates, let us know and we will check it straight away.
A technical issue. If something on the site is broken, the calculator will not load, a button is not working, or the page looks off on your device, please tell us. Include your browser and device type if you can — it helps us track it down faster.
Press or partnership enquiries. If you are a journalist, a content creator, or have a partnership idea, feel free to reach out. We read everything that comes in.
Privacy or data requests. If you want to know what personal data we hold about you, or you want to exercise any of your rights under UK GDPR, email us directly. We handle all data requests within 30 days. More detail is in our privacy policy.
What we cannot help with. We are not able to give personal tax advice or confirm your IR35 status. Our tool gives estimates based on publicly available tax rates. For anything specific to your contract or financial situation, a qualified accountant or IR35 specialist is the right call.
